The 8 Essential Oils That Power the AromaTouch Technique

As y’all know, essential oils are my jam…

Hello understatement of the year.

And because essential oils have had such a huge impact on my life and the lives of those around me, I have to share a not-so-secret with you….

It’s called AromaTouch and it’s one of my favorite ways to use oils (plus it was developed by Dr. David K. Hill, D.C. for doTERRA...yay!).

If you’re not excited… you should be girlfriend because it’s about to open up your world.

doTERRA's AromaTouch Technique is a clinical approach to applying essential oils along energy meridians and visceral contact points of the back and feet to help stimulate and balance sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems of the body.

Yikes that’s a lot of big words. But don’t worry I’m here to break it down for ya!

I love the AromaTouch Technique as it’s a practical application of the oils and it’s helped me reduce stress in my body and maintain the support I need… especially with my hella busy lifestyle.

If we can’t stay grounded in the midst of chaos, everything is off.

Our immune systems weaken, our inflammation levels rise, our moods swing, we can’t sleep, goal weight can’t be maintained and we feel super tired, achy and cranky.

My friends, I’m here to help you create balance in your life so you can get out there and kick some serious butt in your life and biz.

I believe everyone should learn the technique so we can share this wonderful gift we have from the earth.

So what is AromaTouch?

The AromaTouch Technique is an essential oil application that combines Aroma and Touch to create a feeling of overall wellness.

There are eight different oils that are used in AromaTouch… all selected for their individual properties and all come with specific guidelines for application.

The oils are: doTERRA Balance (blend), Lavender, Melaleuca (Tea Tree), doTERRA On Guard (blend), AromaTouch (blend), Deep Blue (blend), Wild Orange and Peppermint.

dōTERRA Balance creates a sense of calmness and well-being. Starting the Technique with this oil creates a great bond between the giver and the receiver from the beginning.

Lavender works to soothe and relax.

On Guard and Melaleuca (Tea Tree) both have powerful cleansing properties. Melaleuca also has 90 different compounds and endless applications.

Aromatouch and Deep Blue go deep into our inflammatory responses and decrease pain and inflammation in the body. These oils also have calming, relaxing and warming effects.

Finally, Wild Orange and Peppermint are the restorative pick-me-ups that bring the body back to homeostasis. They also work to invigorate and energize.

The technique itself is very gentle, simple and can be learned by anyone. It provides a framework to use essential oils in a safe and effective way.

Basically, touch is something we all need as humans...whether it’s a hug from a friend, a high five from your teammate or cuddles from your partner.

The AromaTouch Technique is about connecting with others through the unique essential oils combined with physical touch and massage which offer massive benefits to the recipient, especially on a relaxation and healing level.

When it comes to Touch...it’s just as important as Aroma because of its healing benefits.

Combine this touch with the healing properties of the oils and bada bing, you have an incredibly unique and empowering experience.

Whether you’re suffering from specific ailments or you’re just in need of relaxation...the oils have been chosen for their specific properties.

This clinical approach to applying essential oils has changed my life.

I use the Aromatouch technique and oils on a daily basis either by applying them physically in one way or another or diffusing them.

It helps me deal with stress, boosts my immune system and helps me reduce inflammation.

Seriously, I don’t know what I’d do without it.
